Apply working technical and mechanical knowledge to operate and perform routine maintenance on general
pulse radar systems, continuous wave radar systems, and their peripheral equipment. Primary function of
responsibility will be to provide operations and preventative maintenance on numerous tracking radar
systems, to include but not limited to, system setup, tear-down, and transportation throughout Kofa
and Cibola ranges with occasional temporary additional travel in support of operations.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Must meet all of the following: U.S. Citizen. Minimum of 2 years training in an accredited college,
university, or technical trade school plus 10 years direct experience working with pulse radars;
including MPS-16, MPS-25, and NIDIR radar systems. Additional experience on other radar systems such
as RIR 716 (Vitro 16), 780, and BAE's 980. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended
periods of time. Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted. Possess a valid driver's license.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Secret Security Clearance. Experience with RISP, electrostatic pedestals, and the Vitro DRT
Ranging System. Ability to work extended hours, different shifts, and excess of 40 hours per week.
