Perform as a Test Conductor on USAF Military programs/projects.
Member of Operations Team supporting day-to-day technical requirements during planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of assigned projects.
Perform a variety of operational test support in planning, execution, and reporting on test missions.
Position requires pro-activeness, energetic, positive attitude individual with excellent communication skills willing to support a high tempo work environment.
Provide inputs on required documentation from System Program Office (SPO), and contractors to initiate test planning.
Provide technical insight at test integrated product team (TIPT) and program management reviews (PMR) meetings.
Assist in Developmental Test (DT) test plans and technical reports.
Work with Discipline Engineer (DE) and leads to ensure the types of testing and level of analysis are consistent with test mission objectives.
Participate in the test plan technical review process, including test plan working groups (TPWG), internal reviews, and Technical Review Board (TRB).
Develop test cards and coordinate test cards with DEs, pilots, Flight Test Engineers (FTEs), and contractors (as required).
Assist in establishing test point priorities, defining missions, and assigning cards to missions.
Understand and identify engineering, range or other resources required. Design/modify mission test card decks to optimize resources/priorities.
Responsible for adherence to safety, and security ensuring technical and safety adequacy.
Continually assesses test point priorities and provides inputs to the test team.
Coordinates aircraft configuration, local range assets, and schedule changes with the test team and PM.
Oversees DE test card/test point status updates.
Participate in technical discussions of WIT/DR reviews with SPOs.
Mission Control Room (MCR) experience desirable.
Ensure all Developmental Test (DT) data is obtained and test point statuses are updated.
Coordinates test mission changes with DEs, pilots, and CTF and TW/EN/EW leads and technical experts.
Briefs (w/pilot) DT results to 416 FLTS Commander, OG/CC, TW/CC, and customers (as required).
Unpiloted Air Systems (UAS) experience considered a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements:
BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution desired and 8 years of related engineering experience or substantial developmental test and
evaluation experience as a test conductor.
Must be a U.S. citizen or Naturalized citizen of the United States and hold or be able to obtain a
security clearance. Must pass a background check and drug test.
