Our team is seeking an Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As an Engineer, you will be multi-faceted and will directly influence our business's technological advancements and capabilities.
Key responsibilities include the ability to take a design requirement and create a realizable concept that is then built and improved upon. You will play a critical role in formulating innovative ideas and implementing these into our product offerings. In addition, you will conduct comprehensive performance analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of RF systems and software.
You will also be responsible for implementation of various RF test equipment and instrumentation in our capabilities. This requires considerations into how the equipment can best be used to fit the needs and uses of the RF testing environment and fit the changing requirements of the customer. This will require hardware and software implementations that take into account antennas, amplifiers, equipment carts, isolation, noise, power, communication lines, phase, and more.
Test operations will be executed in a control room environment, requiring you to work in close collaboration with customers, government engineers, and teammates. Your ability to communicate effectively, handle complex instrumentation, and adapt to changing situations will be vital in this setting.
As a source of technical expertise, you will be expected to support cross-functional teams, including RF Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, Engineering Technicians, and Systems Analysts. This will require excellent technical communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into understandable concepts for various customers and non-technical personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of RF principles, communication systems, and signal propagation.
- Ability to take datasets and analyze through data manipulation and convert them into various formats.
- Familiarity with basic RF measurement techniques and the use of standard RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must be a U.S. citizen or Naturalized citizen of the United States and hold or be able to obtain a
security clearance. Must pass a background check and drug test.
