Test System Planning and Engineering Support

AED provides test and facility planning and engineering to meet current and future AFRL test requirements. AED also supports activities to bring potential commercial activity to the AFRL and Edwards vicinity. The primary focus is on the high visibility projects such as IHPRPT, the Laser Rider, and the EELV/RS-68 Engine Development Project, and other future commercial programs.

Data Analysis

AED provides test and scientific data analysis support for AFRL technology and test programs. This includes assisting in coordinating data formats, preparation and documentation of data analysis programs, analysis of data, maintenance of test support databases, preparation of reports on the data, and supporting the on-site weather system.
