JOB DESCRIPTION:
Spiral Technology is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to serve as an embedded contractor at the Benefield Anechoic Facility (BAF) at Edwards Air Force Base, CA.
In this role, you will act as the operational bridge between various stakeholders, serving as a Project Manager coordinating various BAF electronic warfare/Radio Frequency tests. You will manage test scheduling, oversee cross-functional test logistics, and ensure mission continuity in a high-visibility test environment. The ideal candidate communicates effectively with all stakeholders, and can independently drive testing operations from initial planning, through execution to post-test data reporting.
JOB DUTIES:
Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closure: Lead and track project milestones, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and aligned with mission objectives.
Act as the primary liaison between all teams involved in test. Facilitate weekly status syncs, lead briefings, and draft situation reports as needed.
Proactively identify schedule delays, resource shortfalls, or testing conflicts and implement immediate mitigation strategies to keep operations on track.
Software & Technical Requirements:
Familiarity with operating within standard DoW/government IT environments and maintaining strict cyber hygiene.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar task-tracking software.
Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word for test planning documentation, presentations, tracking, and report generation.
Experience managing documents and team workflows via SharePoint and MS Teams.
Essential Functions/Duties:
Manage complex project workflows and ensure continuity of government mission requirements during BAF tests.
Work in a hybrid environment, ranging from standard office settings to active staging areas requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Perform occasional lifting and moving of project equipment, or logistical gear up to 25 lbs.
Basic Qualifications:
1 to 5 years of Project Management experience, ideally supporting DoW, military, or federal civilian test environments.
Must possess (or be eligible to obtain and maintain) an active Top Secret security clearance.
Strong problem-solving abilities, high adaptability, and the capacity to coordinate effectively across various teams.
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the proven ability to resolve interpersonal, scheduling, and budgeting conflicts with personnel who are not in your direct chain of command.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, combined with relevant military or professional project management experience.
1 to 5 years of Project Management experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in relevant field.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification is highly preferred.
Active DoD security clearance

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required. Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
