JOB DESCRIPTION:
Spiral Technology is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of the BAF Simulation Software Team at Edwards AFB, CA; an organization focused on development and production of state-of-the-art RF Simulations.
You will serve as a BAF Simulation Software Team representative, interfacing with Program Management, other sections/departments, and test customers. The candidate will provide assistance with determining customer requirements, and providing input to ensure customer testing requirements are met. Candidate will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation and customer interface to translate customer requirements into hardware and software requirements for RF testing within an anechoic chamber. Candidate will assist other Engineering teams with RF Hardware setup and RF monitoring and/or signals collection duties as needed.
JOB DUTIES:
Candidate will provide technical assistance and coordination with a diverse, multi-disciplined engineering team, whose responsibilities include test support, analysis and performance evaluation of various signal types, to include radar and communication systems and their associated equipment. Duties include but are not limited to conducting signal research using established Intelligence databases and products, establishing waveform modeling criteria, executing tests according to plans, analyzing test results and writing comprehensive reports.
Essential Functions/Duties:
Support RF simulation and test activities for radar, communications, and related signal environments.
Coordinate with engineering teams, program management, and customers to define requirements and support test execution.
Conduct signal research, assist with waveform modeling criteria, and help translate customer needs into hardware and software requirements.
Execute test plans, collect and analyze data, and document results in clear technical reports.
Support functional analysis, timeline analysis, and requirements allocation for RF testing in anechoic chamber environments.
Assist with RF hardware setup, RF monitoring, signal collection, and troubleshooting as needed.
Work in a hybrid environment, ranging from standard office settings to active staging areas requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Perform occasional lifting and moving of project equipment, or logistical gear up to 35 lbs.
Education and Experience Requirements:
BS degree in STEM field or 4+ years of experience in systems analysis, RF/radar test, signal analysis, simulation, electronic warfare support, communications systems, avionics, instrumentation, or a related technical field.
2+ years of RF/EW experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of, or experience in several of the following areas: Radar, RF propagation, antennas, waveform analysis, RF and microwave solid-state components, analog and digital electronics, signal processing and computer control of test equipment.
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance and higher.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required. Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
